In order to better handle risks linked to the circulation and parking of vehicles (HGV, tractors, cars and bikes) on the quays, horizontal and vertical sign posts have been installed at the Tarnos wharf.
Parking in the handling zone (quayside) is forbidden and 4 parking areas have been laid out, away from the tracks used for circulation and the handling areas.
The tracks have been marked out on the ground and sign posts reminding drivers of the speed limit (30km/hr) at the wharfs and in the handstanding areas have been installed.
Finally 2 circulation maps detailing these different areas have been introduced.
