It guarantees the coherence of actions carried out by the area’s different players, so as to avoid any possible conflicting interests.

On 6 December 2013, the Port of Bayonne’s Guidelines for Regional Planning were unanimously approved by :

  • The municipalities of Anglet, Bayonne, Boucau, Tarnos,
  • The Seignanx Communauté de Communes and the Côte Basque-Adour District Authorities,
  • The Landes and Atlantic Pyrenees departments,
  • The New-Aquitaine Regional Council and the Bayonne & Basque Country Chamber of Commerce & Industry.
