Since July 1, the port of Bayonne has changed its governance model with the union of the New Aquitaine Region, the Chamber of Commerce of Industry of Bayonne-Basque Country (CCIBPB) and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Landes, in the so-called Société Portuaire Port de Bayonne.
The creation of this port company responds to the objective of adapting the Basque-French port to new economic, financial and regulatory challenges.
